Classroom Activities
Scholastic Book Fair
You’re invited to attend the Scholastic Book Fair Monday, April 11th through Friday, April 15th from 8:30am - 3:15 daily.

You can log on to the scholastic website to get a full list of the available books to look over with your children.

Your child will be visiting the Book Fair with his/her class and competing a ‘wish list’ to let you know which books (and their prices) they would like to buy.  Remember, there is no tax on your purchases and you can pay by cash, check or credit card.

We will feature the classroom Wish List Program.  This is an easy way for you to make a contribution directly to the classroom.  At the classroom Wish List display, you’ll find teachers’ selections of books they would like to add to their library.  A great idea for teacher gifts, too!
Look for the One for Books jar located at the cashier’s table.  Please consider donating your extra change.  All of the money collected through One for Books goes directly to purchasing books for Westwood.  Scholastic will also match monetary donations raised with a donation of up to one million books to three non-profit organizations dedicated to helping kids and families in need.

We will have a raffle for a chance to win the posters that are hanging on the walls and a Sucker Pull for a chance to win prizes.   Each sucker will be 25 cents.
