West Geauga High School students will be featured on Academic Challenge. Tune in to WEWS Channel 5 at 6:30 p.m. on Mar. 26 to see how our students fare against Cuyahoga Falls High School and Jackson High School. Rob Goehrke, Captain John O'Donnell, and Courtney Cikach comprised the competing team. John Gibson, Mike Repas, Melissa Rigotti and Mike Wilson were the alternate team members.
Congratulations to West Geauga High School seniors Katie Brinager and Joshua Bohinc for their achievement as being selected Students of the Month for March. Katie received this honor by the Chesterland Rotary Club, and the West Geauga Kiwanis Club recognized Josh.
There will no school Mar. 25-Apr. 1 for spring break. Classes will resume Apr. 4.
The third quarter of the 2004-2005 school year ends Mar. 24.
West Geauga Middle School eighth-grader Terry Check ninth in the regional Power of the Pen tournament and will advance to the state competition to be held at Wooster College in May.
